The Woolshed

Eyebright has the top brands of wool, alpaca, and mohair; everything from four-ply to bulky home spun.  There’s also a great selection of knitting patterns to choose from.

You’ll also find a great range of carded wool ready for spinning.

Weavers are catered for with the Ashford range of looms and accessories.  If something is not in stock, it can be ordered in, usually within two days.

We have starter felting kits and have wool packs in fantastic colours.

Lorraine Dufue and Annette (owner Peter Owen's wife), comrades in fibre, initiated the Eyebright Woolshed in 2015.  Fibre has been Lorraine’s life for fifty years.  Annette is a nurse but when she’s not nursing she’s knitting or spinning.  Add to the mix Therese Phillips, Shop Manager, and curator of the ‘Eyebright Look’, and result is  a wonderful wool shop.
