This is a gorgeous pendant.  The rose is  handcrafted silver from the Hill Tribes of northern Thailand and is 3.5cm in diameter. The pearls are creamy freshwater baroque pearls.  There are also sterling silver tubes and aluminium rondelles which give a slight sparkle. The length of the necklace is 46cm.

This range of jewellery including necklaces, bracelets and earrings is handcrafted by Nelson woman Gerrie Young.  The name of her brand comes from her home on a sunny ridge close to the sea where quails (a breed of bird) are frequent visitors.
